Welcome to my little shop! I’m Fran and I draw houses. Well, houses and apartment buildings, churches and restaurants, and bars. So much of who we are is reflected in the places in our histories. My goal is to capture those memories in a way to be treasured for generations. Working in either ink, or watercolor with ink details, I create my portraits totally by hand, using traditional drafting tools. The combination of my love of travel, design background, and coming from a family of architects and builders has given me an interest in structures and cityscapes. I am fascinated with the challenge of trying to capture a sense of place, whether it is a medieval town, an olive grove or the house down the block.
